At 9:00 p.m. every evening during the reunion some of the 
traction engines belt up to the fans, build up a good head of steam
and shovel in the sawdust.  The fan offers resistance so the engine
has a load on it forcing the sawdust out the exhaust stack in a 
shower of sparks.
