Lon lives in Lincoln, IL.  He has been a volunteer at the Reunion 
the many years. During the reunion Lon spends much of his time in the M. Dodds
building in the log village.  There he demonstrates how wood working was 
done before power tools.

     When I talked to Lon at the 2007 reunion he tolled me he was being recalled
into the army and would miss the 2008 reunion.  I hope to see him safe and 
sound for the 2009 reunion.
  

     On years when Lon has not been to busy with the wood working he 
has given talks about the civil war sharp shooters.  It is very interesting.
